Getting started
How do I add my pet?
Tap the profile tab → "Add a pet," then follow the four steps: basics (species, breed, sex, age), photos, health and verification, and breeding intent.
Which animals are supported?
Dogs, cats, horses, birds, and more — the breed list and health fields adapt to the species you choose. Wildlife, endangered, and protected species are not permitted.
Matching and chat
How do matches work?
When you and another owner both "like" each other's pet, it's a match and a chat opens. You can message to compare health records and arrange to meet.
How do I report or block someone?
Open the user's profile or chat → tap the menu → "Report" or "Block." Blocking immediately stops them from contacting you. We review reports within 24 hours.
Verification and safety
What does "health verified" mean?
It indicates the owner has provided health and verification details (vaccinations, genetic panels, scores, registry numbers). Always do your own due diligence — independently confirm health, genetics, and pedigree before breeding.
Safety when meeting other owners:
Meet in a public place, bring a friend, verify documents in person, and trust your instincts. Pawmance is not a party to meetings between users.
Subscriptions and billing
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
- iPhone/iPad: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Pawmance.
- Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Pawmance.
- Web: Manage from your account settings.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Refunds follow the policy of the store you purchased on.
