These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Pawmance app and website (the "Service"), operated by Nexi Corp ("Pawmance," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using Pawmance, you represent that you meet these requirements.
2. Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
3. What Pawmance is — and isn't
Pawmance is a platform that helps pet owners discover and connect with one another for breeding purposes. We do not verify the identity of every user, guarantee the accuracy of any profile, health record, pedigree, or registration, and we are not a party to any arrangement, transaction, or meeting between users. Any decision to breed, meet, or transact is solely between the users involved, who do so at their own risk.
4. User content
You retain ownership of the photos, text, and other content you submit ("User Content"). You grant Pawmance a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute your User Content as needed to operate and promote the Service. You represent that you own or have the rights to your User Content and that it does not violate these Terms or any law.
5. Objectionable content and conduct — zero tolerance
We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You agree not to post, send, or engage in content or conduct that is: harassing, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory; sexually explicit or pornographic; violent, graphic, or promoting cruelty to animals; fraudulent, deceptive, or impersonating; spam or solicitation unrelated to the Service; involving minors in any way; or illegal.
- Report or flag content and users you believe violate these Terms.
- Block any user, immediately removing their ability to contact you.
We review reports of objectionable content and act on them within 24 hours, including removing content and ejecting users who violate these Terms. We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.
6. Animal welfare and lawful breeding
You are solely responsible for complying with all laws applicable to owning, breeding, transporting, and transferring animals in your jurisdiction. You agree not to use the Service in connection with wildlife, endangered, protected, or otherwise prohibited species, or any unlawful breeding activity. You are responsible for the health, welfare, and humane treatment of your animals.
7. Verification and health information
Verification badges and health information reflect information provided by users and, where available, third-party checks. We do not independently guarantee their accuracy or completeness. You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence — including independent health, genetic, and pedigree verification — before breeding or transacting.
8. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
- Apple App Store purchases are processed by Apple via In-App Purchase.
- Google Play purchases are processed by Google via Google Play Billing.
- Web purchases (if offered) are processed by Stripe.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the then-current price for the same period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Refunds, where applicable, are handled according to the policies of the platform you purchased on. Prices and features may change with notice.
9. Prohibited use
You agree not to: reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service; interfere with its operation or security; use it for any unlawful purpose; or infringe the rights of others.
10. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, software, trademarks, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by Nexi Corp and protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes consistent with these Terms.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any match, meeting, or breeding will be successful or safe.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nexi Corp and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from interactions between users, meetings, breeding outcomes, or animal health. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $100.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nexi Corp from claims arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, your interactions with other users, or your violation of these Terms or any law.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
16. Apple and Google app store terms
If you download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you also agree to that platform's terms. For Apple: these Terms are between you and Pawmance, not Apple; Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance; and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government restricted-parties list.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
